Completion date: July 1st, 2016
Project description: Construction of Dining Facility to include containerized kitchen and Dining tents on both sides to serve 500 personnel.
The project includes:
- Site preparation works
- Concrete foundation
- Kitchen area
- Serving area
- Dining tents
- Refrigeration containers
- Freezer containers
- Addressable fire alarm system
- Electrical works
- Mechanical works
- HVAC
- Fire suppression system
- Backup air system
- Provision of kitchen hoods
- Commissioning
The kitchen area consists of 22 ea containers 3.66 m wide 12.1 m long with R-11 wall insulation and R-19 floor and ceiling insulation, the dining tents consist of steel structure with three layers of tent fabric and insulation in middle, with a fire retardant and weather proof/water repellent fabric able to withstand extreme weather conditions with winds up to Class C (80 mph) in accordance with ANSI/ASCE 7-93. Both of the tents spanning at 20 m and 24 m long.
The kitchen area includes two each refrigeration containers and two each freezer containers.
